The DeckLink IP HD captures and plays back HD video directly into SMPTE ST2110 IP-based broadcast systems, carrying two input and two output channels of 10-bit uncompressed video up to 1080p60 over a single RJ45 10G Ethernet connector with embedded audio; the Ethernet port is isolated from anything other than video and audio. The card conforms to the ST2110 standard for transport, synchronisation and description of video, audio and ancillary data over managed IP networks, keeping sources in sync on a common PTP clock, and includes NMOS protocol support. It supports an extensive range of codecs — including ProRes, DNxHR/DNxHD, XDCAM and AVC-Intra — and works with all popular production software such as DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. The PCIe 4-lane, Gen2 card is compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux, and Blackmagic's Media Express software is included.
