SmartView Duo pairs two 8" LCD monitors side by side in a 3 RU rackmountable housing, each with its own auto-selecting 3G/HD/SD-SDI input, so there is no need to match signal formats by hand. The 800 x 480 displays accept an unusually wide signal range, from standard-definition 525i and 625i up to full progressive 1080p60 and several 2K formats, in 10-bit colour with 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 sampling. Both inputs carry a loop-out BNC with re-clocking, and an integrated tally system, fed via a standard 9-pin D connector, borders the relevant screen in red, green or blue to show live broadcast status at a glance. An Ethernet input handles adjustments, and firmware updates load over USB, keeping the pair current without opening the rack.
