The Fairlight Console LCD Monitor adds a high resolution display to every bay of a Fairlight console. Installed above the channel faders and controls, it gives instant graphic feedback for that channel plus access to additional controls, so the state of the bay below is always visible without looking away from the surface.

Channel information arrives over the 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet interface, driven by selections on the Fairlight Console Channel Control. An HDMI Type A input also connects to your computer for viewing native plug-in interfaces on the console itself, with HDMI standards from 1080p23.98 through 1080p60.

A third source is the 3G-SDI BNC input, which carries the video programme or a studio camera preview at 1.5G and 3G rates. SDI standards cover 1080p23.98 through 1080p60 plus 1080i50, 1080i59.94 and 1080i60, sampled at 10-bit 4:2:2 YUV, with compliance across SMPTE 259M, 292M, 296M, 424M-B and 425 Level A and Level B.

Like the other Fairlight console panels, it runs from an internal 100-240V AC 50/60Hz power supply with an IEC C14 mains input, draws a maximum of 20W and operates from 0° to 40°C with 0% to 90% non-condensing humidity. One monitor per bay builds a complete overview across the whole console.
