The SmartView 4K G3 is a 15.6" monitor built around a native 3840 x 2160 active-matrix TFT LCD, with built-in SMPTE 2110 IP video connections, over both RJ45 and optical fibre, for direct placement on an IP-based broadcast system. Two multi-rate 12G-SDI inputs and a further optical-fibre SDI socket cover conventional signal paths, auto-switching between SD, HD and 4K formats up to DCI 4K60, with a 12G-SDI loop-through output and a tally input for on-set status. SD and HD sources are upscaled to fill the panel, and dual 3D LUT support handles creative grading looks, log gamma conversion or custom HDR profiles. On-screen tools include focus peaking, framing guides, safe area, zoom, adjustable markers, H/V delay, blue-only and frame markers, all reachable from the front panel or over Ethernet. The lightweight machined aluminium chassis keeps the monitor practical to move between a fixed install and location work.
