The Mini Converter SDI Distribution 4K distributes a Single Link SD, HD, 3G or 6G-SDI signal to eight SDI devices simultaneously, automatically detecting the input signal type, re-clocking it, and matching all eight outputs to the input format. Using 6G-SDI technology, it supports resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160) at up to 30 fps and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 23.98p, 24p and 25p, alongside SD, HD and 3G-SDI signals. It carries through the full range of SDI-related transmission features, including embedded audio and ancillary data, and can also handle ASI signals — asynchronous signals carrying multiple compressed programs at varying transmission speeds. Control is via DIP switches or software, with firmware updates loaded over USB 2.0, and a 12V universal power supply is included.
