The Mini Converter Audio to SDI 4K embeds four channels of analogue audio or eight channels of AES/EBU digital audio into any SDI video signal, letting you add separately-sourced audio to a picture feed. Its 6G-SDI input accepts resolutions up to Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160), and also handles Single Link SD, HD and 3G-SDI signals, automatically detecting and switching between formats. Four 1/4-inch audio jacks take in the analogue or digital channels to be embedded, and the SDI signal with embedded audio is output over a single 6G-SDI connector at the same resolution and frame rate as the source. A redundant SDI input backs up the main feed, audio runs at 24-bit 48kHz, control is via DIP switches or software, and a 12V universal power supply is included.
