The ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO 2TB is the top HD8 model, recording all eight inputs as separate video files straight to its installed 2TB M.2 NVMe internal memory — or to network storage or USB drives. Audio lands as separate 24-bit 48kHz WAV files, covering the SDI embedded pairs, four analogue inputs and up to 32 channels of MADI digital audio, and the switching is saved as a DaVinci Resolve .drp project file so the entire show stays re-editable after the event.

Against the standard ISO model, the 2TB version also adds SRT streaming alongside RTMP, support for the Blackmagic Cloud Stream Router application and USB audio output with full Fairlight Live integration. Up to eight remote cameras connect as RTMP streaming sources over local Ethernet or the internet, mapped to switcher inputs in ATEM Software Control with tally and camera control on each.

The underlying switcher is the HD8: eight 3G-SDI inputs with re-sync and dedicated frame rate and format converters, 12 SDI outputs, an HDMI multiview output, a multiview configurable to 16, 13, 10, 7 or 4 views and a four-port Gigabit Ethernet switch for panels and network gear, switching HD standards up to 1080p60 in 10-bit 4:2:2.

Production tools cover four ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers, two DVEs, SuperSource, two media players and a 58-channel audio mixer with talkback and mix minus, driven from the built-in broadcast panel with LCD crosspoint labels, fader bar, numeric keypad and 3-axis joystick.
