The ATEM Television Studio HD8 is a redesigned live TV switcher for television studios, remote production or live venues, with eight 3G-SDI inputs supporting up to 1080p60 video. It includes built-in live streaming, USB webcam support and a 58-channel audio mixer, alongside chroma keyers, DVE, transitions, media players, internal recording and talkback support.

Cloud-connected recording and streaming

The switcher is compatible with Blackmagic Cloud, so programme recordings can be available immediately from anywhere. Streaming support runs alongside USB and M.2 recording, and the switcher runs Blackmagic OS.

Multiview and live-mix controls

Multiview output covers up to 16 sources, and audio mixing, transitions, a T-bar and AUX bus are built in, alongside customisable electronic LCD button labels.

Build and camera control

The switcher has an all-new button layout made from polycarbonate — lighter than its predecessor, with professional buttons and LCD label displays — plus studio camera control, timecode, MADI and talkback.
