The ATEM Microphone Converter expands the audio inputs available to an ATEM Television Studio, converting four analogue XLR inputs to MADI and plugging directly into the switcher's MADI port — no complex setup required, and additional units can be daisy-chained where more sources are needed. Each of the four XLR-1/4-inch combo inputs is mic/line-selectable with +48V phantom power, running through 32-bit float digital preamps and eight ADCs per input for clip-free 24-bit/48kHz digital audio conversion with a low noise floor, wide dynamic range and very low distortion, whatever the source level. Two BNC MADI I/O ports and 64-channel MADI digital audio I/O handle the connection to the switcher, an HDMI monitor output covers local monitoring, and USB-C and Ethernet ports let it work with the ATEM Software Control app.
