The BirdDog XL Ultra is a flagship PTZ camera pairing a 20x optical zoom primary camera with a secondary built-in panoramic camera, for productions that need a tight, tracked shot and a wide establishing view from a single camera head.

Two cameras, two viewpoints

The primary camera carries a 4/3" image sensor at 20.89MP, while the secondary panoramic camera adds an 85-degree horizontal field of view on a 1/1.8" Sony CMOS sensor — giving a wide overview alongside the zoomed primary shot.

Dual 4K60 output, your choice of ports

The XL Ultra outputs dual 4K60 simultaneously via any two of its connections: BNC with 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB-C, SFP/SFP+ fibre networking, and high-bandwidth NDI with SpeedHQ.

NDI in depth

Beyond SpeedHQ, the camera encodes NDI HX3/HX2, SRT, RTSP and RTMP, and decodes NDI HX3/HX2 up to 1080p60 — useful where the camera needs to both send and receive a feed on an NDI network.

Built for a broadcast signal chain

An AI tracking engine, a 1GbE adaptive Ethernet port with PoE++ support, and balanced XLR audio connectivity round out the camera for integration into an existing gallery or broadcast chain.
