The BirdDog X1 Ultra is the 4K member of BirdDog's entry PTZ line, pairing 12x optical zoom with AI auto framing to hold a subject in shot without a dedicated camera operator. It captures up to UHD 4K30 resolution and outputs over HDMI and USB/UVC, with an integrated 2.93in E-Ink display for checking status at the camera. Wi-Fi 5 and NDI|HX3 support cover both a wireless and a networked production, and a built-in Halo tally shows on-air status. Colour matrix, API and Kelvin control give some manual adjustment on top of the camera's automatic low-light handling, and PoE keeps the cabling to a single run.
