The BirdDog X5 Ultra is a black PTZ camera built to move a production onto 4K, pairing 20x optical zoom with AI auto tracking and framing to keep a subject in shot without a dedicated operator.

Steps up from the X1

The X5 Ultra updates BirdDog's X1 with 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 outputs for capture up to UHD 4K60, Gigabit Ethernet, and PoE+ support.

Track and frame automatically

AI auto tracking and framing, a 20x zoom and colour matrix processing combine for strong image quality even in low light.

See what the camera sees, twice over

Two integrated E-Ink displays (approximately 2.93in) let you check camera status and settings at the unit itself, without a separate monitor.

Built for conferencing and NDI workflows alike

A built-in Halo tally shows on-air status, native NDI|HX3 support carries the feed over a standard network, and the camera can transmit directly to Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
