The BirdDog X4 Ultra is a black PTZ camera built for untethered shooting, combining Wi-Fi 6 and a built-in battery with NDI|HX3 streaming for broadcasters and content creators who need to set up without running mains power or a network cable to every camera.

Battery and Wi-Fi for untethered shooting

The built-in battery runs the camera for up to 4 hours (usage dependent), and Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity means it can be positioned without a cable run — useful on location or wherever mains and network access are limited.

NDI|HX3 without the cabling penalty

Low-latency NDI|HX3 video streaming keeps the camera compatible with an existing IP-based production, and where a cable run is available, PoE delivers power over the same LAN port.

A large sensor for detail

A Sony 1/1.8" UHD CMOS sensor supports capture up to UHD 4K60, giving the camera a larger imaging surface than a typical webcam-class PTZ.

Scale to a multi-camera setup

An optional base station adds wireless connectivity for up to four X4 Ultra cameras, and a built-in HALO tally system and advanced AI automation carry over from camera to camera in that setup.
