The Sumo 19SE is Atomos's 19" monitor, recorder and switcher, built for multi-camera production. Its 1920x1080 IPS touchscreen runs at 1200 cd/m2 (±10%) brightness. Two 12G-SDI inputs, two 3G-SDI inputs and one HDMI 2.0 input accept video up to 4K60 and support live Quad-HD switching between sources. Five-channel recording captures each input feed alongside the live-switched output, so the whole production is recorded in one pass. LTC timecode syncs via a dedicated BNC input in record mode, while reference genlock keeps switched sources aligned in playback mode. Recording uses 4:2:2 ProRes and Avid DNxHR encoding, with ProRes RAW support, and an HDR mode adds 10 stops of dynamic range for monitoring. Two XLR inputs with +48V phantom power cover on-set audio.
