The PVM-X1800 is an 18.4" 4K HDR Trimaster reference monitor, an addition to Sony's Grade 2 monitor hierarchy designed to replicate the colour space of Grade 1 BVM-series monitors, including the Trimaster BVM-HX310 colour-grading master monitor.

UHD 4K display with flexible signal input

A UHD 4K display resolution accepts both 4K and HD signals across four SDI inputs and one HDMI input, and can build a quad-view of four HD signals for side-by-side comparison.

Independent EOTF and LUT per signal

Each of the four signals can carry its own EOTF and its own LUT, so different feeds or grades can be reviewed side by side.

HDR brightness and onboard signal tools

An HDR workflow is supported by 1000 cd/m² brightness and a wide colour gamut, with built-in scopes and VPID support for on-set and post signal verification.
