The Shogun AV-19 is a 19" rackmount monitor-recorder-switcher in Atomos's Shogun line, built around a bright 3840x2160 capacitive touchscreen at 1200 cd/m2. It records 6K RAW with 10-bit HDR, alongside real-time ProRes/RAW and Avid DNx encoding, with pre-roll and LTC timecode support. ISO recording writes to CFexpress or USB-C media. Video I/O covers HDMI and 12G-SDI, with LANC control and NDI|HX3 support via Gigabit Ethernet for network monitoring and distribution. Custom 3D LUTs, XLR audio I/O and built-in speakers round out the monitoring toolset, and the display can switch between quad-split and fullscreen views. Housed in a 7 RU rack size, it suits cinema capture, live events and broadcast production where a single large-format unit needs to monitor, record and switch.
