The V2Digital Mini-Converter takes a component or composite analogue input and converts it to HD or SD-SDI output at the input resolution — it does not up- or down-convert between SD and HD — for bringing analogue sources into a digital workflow. A full 10-bit data path with 2x oversampling carries the conversion, accepting HD component input as YPbPr or RGB, SD component input as Betacam or EBU-N10, and NTSC/PAL composite or Y/C (S-Video) input. Format support runs across NTSC, PAL, 720p at 50/59.94/60Hz, 1080i at 50/59.94/60Hz and 1080psf at 23.98/24/25Hz. An AGC mode and built-in colour bar generator are included alongside MiniConfig software control over USB, and a universal 5VDC power supply is included. Low power draw and a compact size suit it to on-set use or AV installations mixing digital and analogue equipment — the encode-side counterpart to AJA's V2Analog.
