The V2Analog Mini-Converter takes an HD or SD-SDI digital input and converts it to component or composite analogue output at the input resolution — it does not up- or down-convert between SD and HD — for integrating analogue monitors, tape decks and similar equipment into a digital workflow. A full 10-bit data path carries the conversion, with HD component output as YPbPr/RGB, SD component output as Betacam or EBU-N10, and composite output as NTSC/PAL or Y/C (S-Video). Format support runs across NTSC, PAL, 720p at 50/59.94/60Hz, 1080i at 50/59.94/60Hz and 1080psf at 23.98/24/25Hz. Control is via AJA's MiniConfig software over USB or external DIP switches, and a universal 5VDC power supply is included. Low power draw and a compact size suit it to on-set use or AV installations mixing digital and analogue equipment.
