The openGear Rackmount Frame is the 2RU chassis that houses AJA's openGear card range, turning a rack of individual converters, embedders and processing cards into one managed, centrally-controlled signal-processing hub.

20 slots of rack-ready capacity

Built as a 2RU frame, it holds up to 20 AJA openGear cards side by side, with integral cooling engineered for that kind of high-density card count and a front LCD display for at-a-glance status.

Power built to stay up

A 600W internal power supply drives the frame, with room in the chassis for an optional additional supply so a facility can add spare or redundant power rather than running on a single point of failure.

One frame, any signal type

The frame supports analogue, digital, video, audio, SDI and IP modules side by side, and works with any openGear card, so a single 2RU chassis can carry the mix of conversion, routing and processing a facility needs rather than one function per box.

Centralised setup and monitoring

Standard DashBoard support covers setup, control and monitoring for every card installed, and the frame's advanced openGear connectivity options extend that control down to each supported card.
