The 2x4 3G-SDI Reclocking Distribution Amplifier Card is a rackmount distribution amplifier card built for 2RU openGear frames, able to share a frame with cards from other manufacturers, and hot-swappable, so it can be pulled from the rack at any moment without first powering the rack down. Two SDI inputs automatically distribute format-agnostic video from 150Mb/s up to 3Gb/s, including HDR video, across up to eight SDI outputs, running in 1x8 or 2x4 mode. Reclocking on the outgoing signal supports distribution of a 3Gb/s SDI output up to 394 feet (120 m) — AJA's specified cable-equalization distance using Belden 1694A 75-Ohm coax cable (not included) — and the card passes embedded audio and all ancillary data, such as timecode and closed captioning, alongside the video signal.
