The IPT-10G2-SDI Mini-Converter takes a single 3G-SDI input, with a 3G-SDI loop-out, and encodes it for SMPTE ST 2110 IP transmission at up to 1080p60, 4:2:2, 10-bit. Two 10 GbE SFP+ cages (modules sold separately) give it a redundant interface design, with hitless SMPTE ST 2022-7 switching protecting critical transmissions from a dropped link. Up to 16 channels of SDI-embedded audio can be processed alongside two RCA analogue stereo audio inputs. Control runs over a 1 GbE RJ45 LAN socket for browser-based, cross-platform and REST-client control, with a USB Mini-B port for initial configuration and firmware updates. Power comes from a universal supply with a locking connector and international plug adapters, with a separately available D-Tap cable for battery power on remote shoots. The compact, fanless, durable build suits studio and field use where an SDI source needs a reliable path onto a 2110 IP network.
