This openGear card converts Quad or Dual 3G-SDI to HDMI 2.0b for monitoring 4K/UltraHD, 2K, HD and SD sources on compatible HDMI 2.0 displays, supporting up to 4K 60p in 4:2:2 or 4:4:4, with two sample interleave (2SI) or square division (Quadrant) pixel mapping. It generates HDR metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0b/CTA-861.3, with HDR10 and HLG support, and passes through incoming HDR signalling metadata with an optional override — useful where a professional SDI 4K workflow, typically carried on four SDI cables, needs a single-cable HDMI 2.0 monitor added without re-engineering the signal path. Audio runs at 8 channels, 24-bit, with pass-through of AC-3 (Dolby Digital) and E-AC-3 (Dolby Digital Plus) compressed audio, including Dolby Digital Plus Atmos. Hot-swappable at 12 watts and requiring two slots, with a rear I/O card included, it fits AJA's OG-X-FR, OG-3-FR and DFR-8321 openGear frames, with remote Ethernet configuration and monitoring through Ross DashBoard software on Windows, macOS or Linux.
