The HDP3 converts a 3G-SDI input, up to 1080p60, to a DVI-D output for LCD, DLP and plasma monitors or projectors up to 1920 x 1200. It scales and deinterlaces the incoming video and automatically resizes 4:3 or 16:9 content for the display, supporting HDMI 1.3a via the DVI-D connector with 24-bit or 30-bit deep-colour video. 8 channels of embedded audio pass through the 3G-SDI loop output — DVI embedded audio (2 or 8 channels) is available only via a DVI-D-to-HDMI adapter — with the audio also split to a user-assignable 2-channel RCA analogue output. Setup runs from a Windows or Mac computer over USB, using the supplied configuration software. Small enough to sit behind a monitor, in the back of a rack, or directly on a camera rig, it ships with a universal power supply with international plug connections and a locking power connector.
