The RT CTRL.1 puts single-axis wireless control of focus, iris, or zoom in one lightweight handheld unit, built to work with Teradek's RT motors and receivers. It reads out to 1500 m (5000 ft) line-of-sight, or drops onto a motor directly through an optional 5-pin cable when a wired link suits the setup better. A bright OLED display shows configuration menus and live lens data, and the large focus knob with a start/stop control lets one operator run several motor units on the same lens at once. A single LP-E6 battery powers the unit for around 36 hours, and an included firmware update adds lens mapping — with SmallHD overlay support — for quick recalibration with pre-marked focus or iris rings when swapping lenses mid-shoot. The kit ships with a neck strap and a mini-USB firmware cable.
