The RT CTRL.3 Wireless Lens Control Kit is Teradek's wireless follow-focus system for camera operators and 1st ACs who need reliable FIZ control off a gimbal, cage, or crane. It bundles the CTRL.3 hand controller with a compatible Teradek RT lens motor and wireless receiver in one case, along with the rings, cables, and power gear needed to start shooting.

Line-of-sight range extends to roughly 1500 m (5000 ft), enough to hold the link from a crane, a drone, or across a soundstage without losing the lens.

Control that reads at a glance

The CTRL.3 drives focus, iris, or zoom through an illuminated focus knob with a magnetic encoder, and its OLED menu handles lens mapping in both metric and imperial units so rings match however the crew measures.

Runs all day, every day

A single charge is rated for up to a week of shooting, and the controller integrates with Cinetape and supports lens-mapping overlays on most SmallHD monitors.

A motor built to keep up

The included Teradek RT lens motor runs near-silent with roughly six times the service life of a brushed motor, and its dual power ports allow daisy-chaining for a cleaner cable run.

Everything in the case

The kit's MDR.X or MDR.S receiver provides dedicated lens-motor ports plus additional serial ports for wired control, and the kit adds focus rings, motor and camera-control cables, batteries, a charger, and a carrying case.
