The LMD-A220 is a 22-inch-class (21.5" diagonal) IPS LCD production monitor for on-set, studio and broadcast use, with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angle. It takes 3G/HD/SD-SDI (two inputs, with active loop-through), HDMI and composite inputs, supporting NTSC/PAL, 720p, 1080i and 1080p signals at frame rates from 24p to 60p. Over earlier LMD-series monitors it adds low-latency automatic I/P conversion and a new video-processing engine for improved image accuracy, alongside on-screen tally and yoke mounting screw holes. Built-in waveform and vectorscope, focus assist with adjustable coloured peaking, time code display and a Slog2-to-Rec.709 LUT support on-set monitoring and grading checks, and a built-in audio decoder displays up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio. Power comes via 12V DC on a 4-pin XLR connector — a mid-size option for on-set or studio positions where a compact footprint is useful.
