The SF3 Series SxS PRO X Thunderbolt 3 Pro Card Reader takes two SxS card slots — supporting Sony SxS, SxS-1, SxS PRO, SxS PRO+ and SxS PRO X media natively — onto the 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 bus, reading both slots at combined speeds of up to 2500 MB/s. One of its two Thunderbolt 3 ports connects to the host system, while the second daisy-chains up to five additional devices, including further card readers, two 4K displays at 60 Hz or one 5K display at 60 Hz. On Windows systems it runs over Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4; Mac users can also connect via Thunderbolt 2 or Thunderbolt using an adapter. Built in an aluminium, stackable enclosure with a power adapter included, and it supports USB 3.1 Type-C devices. Compatible with macOS 14 or 15 on supported Macs, and Windows 11 on Thunderbolt 5 or Thunderbolt 4 systems.
