Built in extruded aluminium for durability, the SF3 Series CFast 2.0 Pro Card Reader gives dual CFast 2.0 slots 40 Gb/s of Thunderbolt 3 bandwidth, transferring from both slots simultaneously at up to 1000 MB/s, or up to 550 MB/s from a single slot. It also reads CFast 1.0 media. The reader connects over a user-replaceable Thunderbolt 3 cable and draws its power from the Thunderbolt 3 bus, so no external power supply is needed — if the cable is ever damaged, the back cover plates come off to swap it without returning the unit. Requires a Thunderbolt 3 connection; compatible with supported M-series or Thunderbolt 3 Intel Macs running macOS 14 or later, and with Windows 11 computers fitted with Thunderbolt 5 or Thunderbolt 4.
