The Allegro 7-Port USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 PCIe Card adds seven USB-A ports -- six external, one internal -- to a Windows, Mac or Linux computer via a PCIe 2.1 x1 slot. Three of the external ports each carry a dedicated 5 Gb/s of bandwidth; the remaining three external ports and the internal port share a further 5 Gb/s between them. Each port supplies 5W of power and is backward compatible with USB 2.0, with hot-plug and hot-swap connection.
