The SmallHD Cine 7 ARRI Kit puts ARRI camera control on a 7-inch touchscreen. It bundles a Cine 7 monitor with SmallHD's Camera Control for ARRI licence and the cables to connect it to an ALEXA, so you can change camera settings from the monitor.

ARRI camera control

The licence is a digital download, activated with a code. It gives touchscreen access to ALEXA settings, the ALEXA 35 included: record start and stop, playback, timecode, project rate, sensor frame rate, shutter angle, exposure index, ND filter, white balance, tint and look file, plus clip and media information.

Cine 7 in the ARRI kit

Cine 7 has a 7.02-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS touchscreen with 10-bit processing on an 8-bit panel. It has two 3G-SDI inputs, the second doubling as a loop out, an HDMI input with loop-through, Ethernet and an SD card slot. It runs PageOS with frame guides, focus and exposure assist, 3D LUT overlays, histogram, vectorscope and waveform.

ALEXA cables and accessories

The 36-inch slim Ethernet cable has an RJ45 connector at each end, and the ARRI Alexa camera control cables plug into the camera's 10-pin connector, in straight and right-angle versions. The kit also includes a Smart 7 Sunhood, an UltraClear screen protector, an 8GB SD card, a 36-inch P-Tap to 2-pin power cable and a cleaning cloth.

Power for the Cine 7

Cine 7 runs on 10 to 34 V DC through its 2-pin locking input. It takes a Sony L-Series dual battery bracket, with Gold Mount or V-Mount battery plates as options.
