The SmallHD Cine 5 is a 5-inch, 2000-nit on-camera monitor made for high-end camera work, bright enough to stay readable in direct sunlight. Its 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen runs PageOS 5 with 10-bit colour processing and covers 97% of Rec709, and a side joystick and back button let you work it with gloves on.

Connections cover full-size HDMI in and out, taking up to 4Kp30, plus a 3G-SDI input and a second 3G-SDI that works as an input or an output. Power comes in through a 2-pin locking connector at 10 to 34 V DC, or from a Sony L-Series battery on the back. There's also a 3.5 mm headphone jack, audio metering for up to 8 channels and an SD card slot.

The anodised aluminium unibody weighs 417 g and has six 1/4-20 mounting points. A 5-pin locking USB port takes SmallHD Camera Control, with the licence and cable sold separately in kits for RED, ARRI, Sony and Canon cameras.
