The e865S is a handheld supercardioid condenser microphone for live vocal use. Its supercardioid pattern rejects feedback with low off-axis coloration, and it handles sound pressure levels up to 150 dB with a natural 40 Hz–20 kHz response. It runs on 12–48 V phantom power, has a steel inlet basket and all-metal housing, and adds a built-in on/off switch.
