The e865 is a handheld supercardioid condenser microphone for live vocal use. Its supercardioid pattern rejects feedback with low off-axis coloration, and it handles sound pressure levels up to 150 dB with a natural 40 Hz–20 kHz response. It runs on 12–48 V phantom power, and has a steel inlet basket and all-metal housing.
