The PTZOptics SuperJoy is a joystick controller for driving pan, tilt and zoom across a mixed camera setup from one tactile desk unit. It handles simultaneous control over IP, NDI and serial connections and works with cameras of any generation from several brands, including PTZOptics, HuddleCamHD, Sony, BirdDog, Lumens, Marshall, NewTek and Panasonic. Rubberised controls and pressure-sensitive dials give precise on-the-fly tuning, while status-responsive backlit buttons show which camera modes are available; an optional tablet or computer connection adds remote monitoring. A built-in decoder feeds a 1080p preview over HDMI for any connected camera with an RTSP feed, so an operator can watch a low-latency image anywhere on the network. Super-Preset buttons trigger synchronised multi-preset moves across four camera groups of up to seven cameras each, plus a fifth group of up to 225. Basic, Basic Plus and Matrix modes suit operators of every skill level.
