The PTZOptics Move 4K with 30x optical zoom is a pan, tilt and zoom camera for live production, streaming and events where the camera sits well back from the action. The 30x lens pulls in a presenter, pulpit or playing surface from the far end of a hall, while 4K capture and built-in auto-tracking keep the shot sharp and framed without a dedicated operator.

Reach across a large room

The Move 4K line is offered in 12x, 20x and 30x optical zoom, and the 30x is the longest of the three — suited to auditoriums, houses of worship, lecture theatres and sports halls where the camera position is fixed and distant. It records up to 4K (2160p) at 60fps and outputs 1080p at 60fps over SDI, and down-converts to HD and Full HD to sit alongside existing equipment.

Tracking without an operator

Auto-tracking is built into the camera, so there is no separate computer or software to run. Presenter Lock holds focus on one chosen person — up to about 90 metres away — even when others are in frame, and you can switch between presenters at the press of a button. It is a practical way to run a manned-looking shot from an unmanned camera.

Signal paths for any gallery

SDI, HDMI, USB and IP outputs let the Move 4K drop into a broadcast gallery, a conferencing PC or an IP production network without adapters. It carries native NDI|HX for video over standard networks, along with SRT for reliable streaming across less predictable connections.

Control it your way

Drive the camera from production software such as OBS, vMix, Wirecast, Livestream Studio, mimoLive or TriCaster, or from a PTZOptics hardware joystick — the IP joystick, serial joystick or SuperJoy. Cameras can also be operated remotely over NDI and cloud tools such as Zoom, and stream straight to services like YouTube and Facebook.

Mount once, set up fast

Automatic video inversion senses whether the camera is mounted above, below or beside the action and flips the image to match, saving time on install. A single PoE+ cable carries power and data, a built-in tally light shows when the camera is live, and every Move 4K is backed by a five-year parts and labour warranty.
