The PTZOptics Link 4K brings a professional PTZ camera onto a Dante network. Built around Dante AV-H, it is discovered, configured and routed like any other Dante device, so broadcast-quality video drops into an existing audio-over-IP installation without a separate video chain. This 30x model pairs that networked workflow with the longest optical reach in the line and on-camera auto-tracking.
Native Dante AV-H video and audio
Dante AV-H extends Dante to networked video, so the Link 4K puts its video onto the Dante network natively, alongside audio from its 3.5mm input. The camera locks to your Dante clock leader to keep audio and video aligned, and routing and device management stay in a single platform rather than a parallel video system.
A connection for every workflow
Beyond Dante, each Link 4K carries SDI, HDMI, USB and IP outputs, with 4K at 60fps available over HDMI, IP and Dante AV-H, and up to 4K at 30fps over USB. One camera can feed a hardware switcher, a software production PC, a USB capture workflow or a networked gallery.
30x optical zoom
The 30x optical zoom is the longest reach in the Link 4K range, holding 4K detail on subjects well back from the camera — from the rear of an auditorium or large sanctuary to a sports floor.
Auto-tracking without an operator
Built-in auto-tracking runs on the camera itself, with nothing to install on a separate computer. It can lock onto one presenter while others stay in frame, hand between presenters at the press of a button, and follow a subject up to 101.8 m (334 ft) away — handy when a production runs without a dedicated camera operator.
Mount it anywhere, control it your way
Automatic video inversion senses whether the camera is upright or inverted, so it sits above, below or beside the action without manual reconfiguration. Drive it from OBS, vMix, Wirecast, TriCaster and other production software, from PTZOptics hardware joysticks, or remotely through tools such as Zoom, and stream straight to platforms like YouTube and Facebook. A web UI with built-in tutorials and free PTZOptics software, including the Camera Management Platform, round out the workflow. Wide dynamic range and 3D noise reduction keep the picture clean in mixed lighting, and every camera carries a 5-year parts and labour warranty.
