The HC-X2000GC is a compact 24x UHD 4K camcorder built for directors and on-set behind-the-scenes work, with 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs for a broadcast-compatible workflow. Its 1/2.5-inch 8.29M MOS sensor always shoots at 4K resolution, with the Venus processing engine scaling the image for Full HD delivery, and it records UHD 4K up to 60p plus 120fps slow motion. The built-in Leica Dicomar lens covers a 24x optical zoom from a 25mm wide angle; i.ZOOM extends this to 48x in Full HD or 32x in UHD/4K, with a separate 2x/5x/10x digital zoom function, and 5-axis optical image stabilisation plus a built-in ND filter support handheld shooting. A handle adds 2 XLR audio inputs and an LED light, with 24-bit PCM audio recorded via the built-in microphone. Face Detection AF tracks and holds focus on subjects automatically, and footage records as MP4, MOV or AVCHD to dual SD card slots, framed on the 3.5" LCD touchscreen with manual lens rings and dial. Live RTP streaming is also supported.
