The AG-UX180EN8 is a DCI 4K and UHD 60p professional camcorder, recording DCI 4K (cinema 4K) at 24p, UHD 4K at up to 60p, and FHD at up to 120p. It switches between the 59.94Hz and 50Hz frame formats, so it fits with either NTSC-style or PAL-style broadcast systems. A 1.0-inch CMOS sensor sits behind an integrated 20x optical zoom lens (8.8-176mm) with optical image stabilisation, controlled through three manual lens rings for zoom, focus and iris. Recording covers DCI 4K, UHD and HD in MOV or MP4, plus HD in the AVCHD format, with UHD/FHD dual-codec recording and relay, simultaneous or background REC modes available. A 16-axis colour correction function and IR night shooting round out the feature set.
