Built around a 6G-SDI input, the USB Capture SDI 4K Plus captures up to 4K DCI resolution (4096 x 2160) with embedded audio and delivers it to a computer over USB. A 6G-SDI loop-through passes the signal on to a local monitor while it's being captured, and separate 3.5mm audio in/out let you capture external audio alongside the video, or extract audio embedded in the SDI stream. It's compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome operating systems. Onboard processing handles resolution scaling and deinterlacing, with 10-bit and 12-bit colour depth and RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4 and YCbCr 4:2:2 colour formats all supported. The device is built to run continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and a status LED reports the input state — idle, signal locked, memory failure or FPGA configuration — at a glance.
