The Sony UWP-D27 is a wireless lavalier package for on-camera interviews and live presentations. It's built around two UTX-B40 bodypack transmitters and a URX-P41D two-channel portable receiver, and Sony pairs the transmitters with its ECM-V1BMP omni-directional lavalier microphone. This is the CE42 version, which Sony lists as 638.025MHz to 694.000MHz (UHF-TV channels 42 to 48).
NFC SYNC pairs each transmitter with the receiver. The receiver uses true diversity on one channel and dynamic switching diversity on two, and its output level adjusts by up to 12dB either way. Both the transmitters and the receiver run from two AA batteries or USB Type-C power, and Sony rates the transmitter at about eight hours at 30mW. The picture shows the URX-P41D receiver. Sony sells the SMAD-P5 Multi Interface Shoe Adaptor separately.
