The Fujinon MK50-135mm T2.9 is a cine-style zoom lens in Sony E mount, built for cameras with a Super 35mm-sized sensor. Three independent control rings — focus, iris and zoom — each carry a standard 0.8 MOD cine-style gear, so the lens drops straight onto standard follow-focus and zoom-control rigs alongside other cine glass, rather than needing photo-lens-style accessories built for E-mount stills lenses.

A constant T2.9 through the zoom range

Aperture holds at a consistent T2.9 across the full 50-135mm range, so exposure doesn't shift as the lens zooms — useful for a continuous zoom move mid-shot without an operator riding the iris to compensate, and for keeping match-cut exposure consistent between the wide and tight ends of a scene.

Iris and focus handling

The 9-blade iris is clickless for smooth iris pulls rather than stepped stops, the focus ring turns through approximately 200° of rotation for precise manual pulls with room between marks, and a macro mode is built in for close-focus work at the long end of the range.

Colour-matched across the Fujinon line

The lens is colour-matched to Fujinon's HK, ZK and XK series, so footage intercuts cleanly with those lenses on a multi-lens production without a separate colour-matching pass in the grade — useful on a production mixing this MK zoom with Fujinon's higher-tier cine glass across different set-ups or camera positions on the same shoot day.

Diameter, weight and mount adjustment

The front outside diameter is 85mm, the lens weighs 2.16 lb, and the mount carries flange focal distance adjustment for back-focus calibration, keeping the package light enough for gimbal and handheld work as well as a standard cine rig.
