The Fujinon ESM-15A-SA Digital Servo Unit is built specifically to bring zoom and focus servo control to the Fujinon ZK12x25 Cabrio cine zoom lens. The drive is removable, so it can be fitted when ENG-style focus or zoom control is wanted on the cine-style lens, and taken off when it is not — letting a single ZK12x25 move between manual cine control on one set-up and full servo control on the next, without a second lens. Two 12-pin Hirose connectors handle zoom and focus control and accept a variety of optional Fujinon and third-party controllers, while a 20-pin connector provides RS-232 control and outputs lens metadata for visual-effects or wireless workflows. The digital servo is compatible with Fujinon's EPD-21A-A02 focus control, and with any electronic focus or zoom control compatible with Fujinon HA or ZA lenses.
