The Canon CR-N400 is a 4K PTZ camera built for educational, corporate, broadcast and house-of-worship installs, designed to be operated remotely so one person can run a camera — or several — from a single position.

Image and autofocus

A 1/2.3-inch sensor and Canon DIGIC DV7 image processor drive UHD 4K and HD capture, with Hybrid AF keeping focus fast and accurate without an operator on the camera.

Zoom

A 20x optical zoom extends to 40x Advanced Zoom in HD, giving reach from a fixed mounting position without a lens change.

Connectivity

The CR-N400 outputs 4K60p in 4:2:2 10-bit over 12G-SDI and HDMI, and has built-in NDI|HX2 (no separate licence required), letting it sit alongside other Canon PTZ and cinema cameras — including the CR-N500 — in a multi-camera broadcast or streaming setup.
