The Ultimatte Smart Remote 4 G2 puts control of up to eight Ultimatte 12 units on one console over Ethernet, useful for a facility running several keyers side by side. A 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 capacitive colour touchscreen handles menu navigation, backed by eight rotary knobs for adjusting parameters by feel. Eight unit ID buttons light blue for the active unit, with LED indicators showing green for online and red for on air, so switching between studios is a single press. Five shared Quick Load/Save buttons recall presets directly, with Alt plus the same buttons saving them, and a dedicated file clear button runs Auto Key to set up a clean composite automatically — Alt plus file clear applies Auto Key using your own saved presets instead. Four customisable menus group your most-used controls, LED brightness is user-adjustable, and an HDMI output feeds a 1080p60 monitor. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports handle unit control and software updates, with two rear USB-C 3.0 ports and a front USB-C 3.0 port for a mouse, keyboard or storage — the front port also connects to a Mac or PC for setup and software updates — and power comes from a locking 12V DC input drawing up to 24W.
