The Ultimatte 12 HD Keyer/Advanced Compositing Processor brings 3G-SDI connectivity to Blackmagic Design's advanced algorithms, improved spill suppression, colour science and separation, and colour fidelity, for photorealistic composites in HD. Sub-pixel processing keeps the image clean at up to 1080p60 via a 3G-SDI BNC connection, with SD, HD and 3G-SDI support, 5 SDI inputs, 4 SDI outputs and 1 reclocked loop output for Camera FG, plus dedicated compositing inputs and outputs. It supports a variety of media formats within that 1080p60 ceiling. One-touch keying and advanced compositing, together with realistic augmented reality layers and tinting, suit news, sports and other live production work. The unit works with the Ultimatte Smart Remote 4 and fits a 1 RU, half-rack width chassis.
