Coming from the opposite direction to the HDMI-to-Optical model, the Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G Converter takes a 12G-SDI signal — or, with an optional optical fibre module fitted, a fibre signal up to 12G — and converts it to HDMI, useful for bringing sources such as the Blackmagic URSA into an HDMI monitoring chain. Input and output both support Ultra HD up to 2160p60, and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 23.98p, 24p and 25p. The optical fibre module isn't included but is supported on the rear; Optional 3G, 6G or 12G-SDI single-mode 1310 nm SFP modules with LC connectors are available separately. XLR outputs are switchable to AES/EBU, an Ethernet port covers remote control or PoE, and the built-in 100-240V power supply suits rack-mount, cable-duct or desktop installation.
