An HDMI input converts straight to a 12G-SDI output on the Teranex Mini HDMI to Optical 12G Converter, or — with an optional optical fibre module fitted to the rear — to a fibre signal instead, with the output automatically matching the HDMI input's resolution. Both input and output support Ultra HD up to 2160p60, and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 23.98p, 24p and 25p. XLR inputs are switchable to AES/EBU, and an Ethernet port handles remote control or PoE, alongside a built-in 100-240V power supply. The unit fits rack-mount, cable-duct or desktop installation, with up to three units in a single 19-inch rack, and supports an optional LCD Smart Front Panel.
