The Teranex Express converts SD, HD and Ultra HD footage in real time, scaling SD and HD sources up to Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160) for large high-resolution displays, or bringing Ultra HD footage back down to HD monitors. Patented Teranex processing gives full 10-bit signal handling with high-quality de-interlacing and Ultra HD scaling algorithms. It can also synchronise non-genlocked external feeds or cameras into a switcher for live production, with conversions retaining timecode and closed caption data and maintaining audio sync so the result is ready for real-time editing or broadcast. Two SDI inputs — one 12G, one 6G — are matched by outputs supporting 12G-SDI and Dual Link 6G-SDI signals.
