Built for professional A/V installations and live events, the Teranex AV handles 1089 up, down, cross and standards conversions spanning formats from NTSC and PAL through to 2K and UHD 4K, with all processing done in real time, and approximately two-frame latency available for selected format conversions. Source options cover dual SD/HD/3G/6G/12G-SDI inputs alongside an HDMI 2.0-compliant input, with automatic input signal detection selecting the right format without manual switching. A redundant SDI input and looped SDI output give a backup path through a live signal chain, and conversion output runs via quad-link SDI. Audio is carried at 24-bit, 48kHz over XLR and RCA connections. Day-to-day operation runs from front-panel controls, while software control over RJ45 Ethernet suits units mounted out of reach in a rack or truck.
