Fusion Studio brings a full 2D/3D, node-based compositing system to current macOS, Windows and Linux releases — see Blackmagic's Fusion support release notes for the specific supported OS versions. It's resolution independent, handling images beyond 32K x 32K with no limit on output resolution, and it moves the heavy image-processing load onto the GPU rather than the CPU. Keyframe- and spline-based animation tools drive its keying and matte tools, particle tools and vector paint tools over time, alongside 2D and 3D text tools and the ability to import 3D scenes and models. It supports third-party plugins, optical flow and stereoscopic tools, and all major VR headsets, and places no limit on the number of render nodes it can use.
